Rite Aid

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

A 16,000 SF retail build to suit project.  It was our first build to suit project for a national retail client whereby we did not control the design and the construction.  We had to adjust to a new type of team approach for development of this project.  While our process and philosophy of development had aspects of challenge, the basics of development were still built on strong fundamentals.  Rite Aid demanded prime real estate locations and great street presence. 

Rite Aid controlled the exterior and interior design with their complete architectural team.  They made change orders on the fly while we controlled construction, schedules and banking.  Some pieces of the construction required us to use national contracts even if their prices and schedules were not as competitive as locally owned vendors.  Rite Aid's criteria presented another opportunity to solve challenges associated with our work.
